NEW BRITAIN ——
Forensic technicians and scientists have produced three-dimensional likenesses of two women whose skulls were found in a wooded area in 2007."Our whole purpose is to try and identify these girls," said Lt. James Wardwell.
The sculptures were completed at the FBI laboratory in Quantico, Va., earlier this year. The process took many months, Wardwell said.
The remains of at least three women were found in August 2007 near a shopping plaza down the road from Westfarms mall. Only two skulls were found.
The remains of another woman who had been shot was found in the area in 1995.
Police have released photographs of the likenesses and ask anyone who may recognize them to call New Britain police at 860-826-3063
