East Hartford Apartment Complex Fire
Firefighters from several towns responded to a fire at an apartment complex on Ellington Road in East Hartford shortly before 4 am Tuesday morning. Several rescues were made as residents had to jump out of the building and a dozen people were hurt including three firefighters. Residents of 38 units were ffected by the fire and a shelter has been set up at the North End Senior Center.
