Cost Plus Management Services Inc. is recalling about 250,000 glass cabinet knobs after five people were reported cut by broken knobs, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Wednesday. The recall by the Oakland, Calif., company involves glass bubble knobs used on cabinet doors and drawers and attached to bronze-colored hardware. They were sold in two sizes and six colors, the agency said in a statement. The knobs were sold at Cost Plus World Market and World Market stores from October 2010 to April 2014 for between $2 and $4. They were made in India, the statement said.
