The opening of the hospital's new Sheikh Zayed Tower and The Charlotte R. Bloomberg Children's Center will also impact parking accessibility at the Orleans Garage, officials said.
Starting at 3 p.m. on both days, the entire street will be closed between North Broadway and North Wolfe Street, and won't be reopened until 11 p.m., officials said.
Patients can enter the Orleans Garage via the entrance on Fayette Street, officials said.
Employees of the hospital working daytime shifts can park in the Orleans Garage as well, but may have to exit through the Fayette Street entrance, officials said.
Employees working evening and night shifts must park in a garage on the hospital campus other than the Orleans and Weinberg garages, officials said.
The Sheikh Zayed Tower, named for High Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates, whose 2007 donation helped fund the building, will be the new home of the Johns Hopkins Heart and Vascular Institute.
The Charlotte R. Bloomberg Center will serve as the hospital's new children's hospital and pediatric wing.
