Anne Arundel County Police have arrested one man in connection with a robbery last month in the parking lot of Westfield Annapolis Mall and are seeking two other suspects.
The three men accosted a couple walking to their vehicle at about 5 p.m. on Feb. 23. One suspect pushed the 64-year-old man and wrested a laptop from him. A second suspect attempted unsuccessfully to take property from the 54-year-old female. All three suspects fled in a BMW with D.C. license plates, which police later discovered was stolen.
Working with D.C. Metropolitan and Montgomery County police, investigators located the stolen vehicle in a northeast Washington neighborhood. Officers served a search warrant at a home in the 300 block of Oneida St. on Feb. 29 and found evidence linking Stephon Alonte Harrigan, 18, to the mall robbery, police said. He has been charged with robbery. Police have issued an arrest warrant for Ronald M. Harrigan, Stephon's 20-year-old brother, of the same Oneida Street address, and are working to identify the third suspect.
