BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota National Guard says it ceased flood response operations on Friday, ending a monthslong effort statewide.
The military says more than 3,000 National Guard soldiers and airmen participated in flood-fighting operations beginning in late May.
The Guard says six soldiers will remain on duty in Minot helping to register contractors involved in the city's cleanup.
