Northern State University will host events celebrating Black History month. The events are sponsored by the Northern's Black Student Union, Residence Life and Multicultural Student Affairs. The events, free and open to the public, are:
  •  Monday (Feb. 25): The Rev. Kelly Hinton will give a presentation on entrepreneurship and making the most out of the college experience at noon. Soul Night event at 6 p.m. at Revival Ribs, 318 Sixth Ave. S.W.
  •  Tuesday (Feb. 26): March on Washington event will start at 11 a.m. in Student Center Centennial rooms with a speech and will include a march on South Washington Street beginning at 15th Avenue. Soul Train dance at 9 p.m., Jerde Cafe.
