The Hub Area Gift of Life Transplant Group will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church, 1732 S. Main St.
This will be the group's annual summer picnic, and the location has changed because of a scheduling conflict at Plymouth Congregational Church, according to a news release. The group will provide hamburgers, brats and buns, and members are asked to bring a salad or dessert to pass. The group will discuss float ideas for the Gypsy Day parade as well as alternate meeting locations for the future.
Celebrating August transplant anniversaries are:
·Sue Lemus, kidney, 12 years.
·Fred Rist, bone marrow/stem cell, seven years.
