No vote totals were changed after a Thursday canvass of votes cast in Tuesday's Aberdeen City Council election.
In the Northeast District race, Rob Ronayne defeated James Kraft 413-377. In the Southwest District, Alan M. Johnson beat Davin Johnson 264-53. Both terms are for five years. Overall voter turnout was 13.7 percent.
Maxine Fischer, Brown County auditor, said the election was a smooth one. Ballots had to be fed more slowly than usual through the machine that tallies them Tuesday night because of high humidity, but there were no serious problems, she said.
