Mercury Rev And Gang of Four Among Recently Announced Concerts

Buffalo-based band Mercury Rev ($20), which recently announced a new album (coming in September), plays the Ballroom at the Outer Space in Hamden on Saturday, Sept. 12, followed by English post-punk band Gang of Four ($25) on Friday, Oct. 2; both shows begin at 9 p.m. Purchase tickets at manicproductions.org.

Such Gold ($10-$12) heads to the all-ages Space on Wednesday, Aug. 5, at 7:30 p.m., with After the Fall and the Moms opening. Diarrhea Planet ($12) fills the Space on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at 8 p.m., with Music Band opening.
