Entertainers Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga may belong to different generations, but “Cheek to Cheek,” a joint album of standards released in September, showed they share more common ground than most singers.

Now Bennett, 88, and Gaga, 28, have announced they’ll tour together in 2015, including a stop at the Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford on Monday, June 29 at 8 p.m., according to a Live Nation press release. They’ll be backed by a full orchestra and each singer’s jazz ensemble.

“Cheek to Cheek,” which featured arrangements of songs by Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Billy Strayhorn, Duke Ellington and others, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 charts upon its release on Sept. 23. It also made Bennett the oldest person in history to score a #1 album.
