Wilco, String Cheese Incident, Ben Harper To Headline 2015 Gathering Of The Vibes

Bridgeport's favorite yearly celebration of improvisational rock announced its 2015 lineup this morning, which includes Wilco, the String Cheese Incident, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals and Gregg Allman.

The festival takes place (as always) at Seaside Park in Bridgeport between July 30-Aug. 2. A three-day camping pass will run you between $225 (no-frills) and $495 (VIP).

Other confirmed acts include Weezer, Billy and the Kids (Bill Kreutzmann of the Grateful Dead), Dark Star Orchestra (w/Melvin Seals), Tedeschi Trucks Band, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, the Word (Robert Randolph, John Medeski, Luther and Cody Dickinson and Chris Chew), the Gaslight Anthem, Greensky Bluegrass, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Deep Banana Blackout, Kung Fu, Twiddle, Jaimoe's Jasssz Band, Strangefolk, Turkuaz, the Nth Power, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Moon Hooch, the Primate Fiasco, David Gans and more.

It being the 20th anniversary of the Vibes, and also the 50th anniversary of the Grateful Dead, expect some extra-fun celebratory behavior.
