Bruno Mars, Schoolboy Q Among Recently Announced Concerts

Bruno Mars performs at Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m. as a part of the casino's massive 20th birthday celebration. Tickets range from $79 to $299. Also performing during the multi-week bash, Megadeth takes the arena stage on Oct. 13 with Amon Amarth, Suicidal Tendencies, Metal Church and Havok also on the bill. Tickets are $35 and go on sale July 29 at 10 a.m.

KISS, Loretta Lynn Among Recently Announced Concerts

The fall will be filled with leather, face paint, pyrotechnics and iconic anthems when KISS brings its "Freedom To Rock" tour to Mohegan Sun Arena on Oct 29. No word on ticket sales yet.

Even more legendary than KISS, if that's possible, country giant Loretta Lynn ($110-$155) plays Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield on Aug. 22 at 8 p.m.

Gary Clark Jr. plays the Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford on Sept. 1 at 8 p.m. Tickets ($32.50) go on sale beginning on Friday, July 8, at 10 a.m.

Blitzen Trapper ($20-$22) performs at the Ballroom at the Outer Space in Hamden on Sept. 28, with Kacy & Clayton opening.
