Original Music, Artists Booked For Glastonbury Harvest Festival

The musical lineup for this year's Glastonbury Apple Harvest Festival (Oct. 13 to 15) features a cross-section of singer-songwriters from across the Northeast, including Heather Maloney, Savannah King, Riley Pinkerton and Kate Callahan, according to entertainment director Chip McCabe.

As usual, McCabe wanted to book artists who write and perform their own music.

Regina Spektor Coming To College Street In Fall

Regina Spektor ($37 to $57) will play a special solo show at College Street Music Hall in New Haven on Nov. 19 at 8 p.m.

Mike Gordon ($25 to $30) heads to College Street on Sept. 27 at 7:30 p.m., and comedian Gad Elmaleh ($25 to $30) will be there Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. Kari Jobe ($19 to $39) plays the Elm City venue Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.

Best Coast ($25-$27) heads to College Street Music Hall in New Haven on Oct. 5 at 8 p.m.

Luis Fonsi ($58-$78) plays the Grand Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket on Sept. 29 at 8 p.m.

Surfer Blood ($15) performs at the Ballroom at the Outer Space in Hamden on Aug.

DJ Khaled Coming To Mohegan In August

DJ Khaled ($35-$55) performs at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville on Aug. 17 at 7:30 p.m., followed by Huey Lewis and the News ($25-$45) on Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m.

Hike to the Mic 3.0 takes place at Heublein Tower on Aug. 26-27 from 11 a.m. to sunset, with performances by Will Evans, West End Blend, Jay Collins & the Northern Resistance, Wise Old Moon, One Time Weekend and others.

Lucinda Williams ($66-$99) heads to Infinity Hall in Hartford on Aug. 16 at 8 p.m., followed by the Rippingtons ($49-$69) on Oct. 5 at 8 p.m.; and Mary Chapin Carpenter ($84-$109) on Oct. 27 at 8:30 p.m. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy ($44-$64) plays Infinity Hall in Norfolk on Aug.

The Laid Back Festival ($32.50-$125), featuring Jackson Browne, Steve Winwood, Peter Wolf and Jaimoe's Jassz Band, celebrates the spirit of Gregg Allman at Xfinity Theatre in Hartford on Sept. 23 at 5 p.m.

AC2 ($60-$100), an intimate evening with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen, takes place at the Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford on Nov. 4 at 8 p.m.
