Rakim will be the headliner for the 11th Annual Trinity Hip-Hop Festival in Hartford. He’ll perform on April 9 in the Washington Room at Mather Hall. The festival takes place April 7-11 on the Trinity College campus.

The University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford hosts Legends Live On, featuring Michael Allman, Claudette King, Sheila Raye Charles, Jeff Pitchell and Charles Neville, on Jan. 20 at 8 p.m. in the Bruyette Athenaeum. Tickets ($40) are available at tickets.usj.edu or by calling 860-231-5555.
