Tom Tom Club, the Fairfield-based avant-world-pop outfit founded by Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth of Talking Heads, is doing a hometown reunion show — the band’s first get-together in more than two years — on Saturday, Jan. 23, to celebrate the recent opening of FTC’s new Warehouse space at 70 Sanford St.

Frantz was one of the many musicians paying tribute when David Bowie died. Some of Bowie’s later work was reportedly influenced by Talking Heads. Tickets are $95, $85 for FTC members. Doors open at 7 p.m., show at 8 p.m. Information: 203-259-1036 and fairfieldtheatre.org.
