Toby Keith‘s Good Times & Pick Up Lines Tour heads to Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville on Nov. 20 at 8 p.m. Chris Janson (of “Buy Me a Boat” fame) opens. Tickets ($65-$85) go on sale Friday, Sept. 25, at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com and 800-745-3000.

Mohegan Sun has also booked Little Big Town ($49) to headline a New Year’s Eve blowout, beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 31, with Holly Williams opening. Tickets are already on sale at ticketmaster.com.

Connecticut’s own Frank Zappa tribute band the Z3 takes up residency at the Pacific Standard Tavern in New Haven every Tuesday in October with special guest artists Natalie Cressman (Trey Anastasio Band; Oct. 6), Katie Jacoby (Ed Palermo Big Band; Oct. 13), Jen Durkin (Deep Banana Blackout, Mickey Hart Band, The Business; Oct. 20) and Hayley Jane (Hayley Jane & the Primates) and Mel Hsu (Oct. 27).
