Weeknd Among Recently Announced Concerts; Charli XCX and Bleachers Cancel

Toronto hit-making singer/producer The Weeknd announced his upcoming Madness Fall Tour, which arrives at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville on Saturday, Nov. 14. Tickets ($77.50-$97.50) go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com and 800-745-3000.

Charli XCX and Bleachers have canceled the second half of their U.S. tour, including a Sept. 16 show at the Dome at Oakdale in Wallingford. Tickets purchased online will be automatically refunded.

The Latin Heartbeat Orchestra headlines the Hispanic Heritage Month Grand Finale Extravaganza ($39-$59) at Infinity Hall in Hartford on Thursday, Oct. 15, at 8 p.m. Area favorite Eight to the Bar ($29-$44) celebrates its 40th anniversary with a show at Infinity Hall Hartford on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 8 p.m. The folksters in Wise Old Moon ($19-$29) play Infinity Hall in Norfolk on Sunday, Oct. 18, at 7:30 p.m., with the Zolla Boys opening.
