At 35 years old, Lizz Wright, has the confidence and accomplishments of vocalists twice her age.

She sings jazz, soul and gospel with equal fluency and depth. She’s worked with Joe Sample, Toots Thielemans, Amos Lee, David Sanborn and Meshell Ndegeocello. She’s a natural soloist who started out by singing in choirs and harmony groups. She’s struck a chord with a wide range of fans, due in part to the upbeat social messages on such albums as “Fellowship” and “Freedom and Surrender.”
