Knuckle Puck is a pop-punk, five-piece band hailing from Chicago, continuing a long line of exceptional pop-punk and emo bands that have come out of the Windy City.

Among the band’s releases are several EPs, and a debut full-length record, “Copacetic,” released earlier this year. The band’s sound is polished but raw, and should satisfy fans of early-2000s pop-punk.

Knuckle Puck plays The Space in Hamden on Friday, Dec. 18, with Seaway, Light Year and Salitter. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $16 to $18. Information: 203-288-6400, manicproductions.org.
