George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic have been blowing the roof off Toad’s Place, 300 York St., New Haven, on a regular basis for decades now. Clinton himself is 74 years old.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, who influenced not only a generation of funk bands but also the countless hip-hop artists who’ve sampled P-Funk tracks, returns to Toad’s for a 9 p.m. show Friday, Dec. 4.
