Call it New Age, classical lite, camp or whatever, but tip your hat to the Piano Guys — Utah dads Al van der Beek, Jon Schmidt, Paul Anderson and Steven Sharp Nelson — who’ve amassed tens of millions of views for their self-produced YouTube videos. (It helps that they shot them at some pretty astounding locations, including the Great Wall of China and the Batcave.)

The Guys’ success is more than viral; “Wonders,” their fourth major-label album released in October, nearly cracked the Billboard top ten (it topped the classical chart) and contained covers of Dave Matthews’ “Ants Marching” (mashed up with “Ode to Joy”) and their own spin on the “Frozen” anthem “Let It Go.” Their upcoming holiday-themed show at the Oakdale promises some audience participation, so brush up on the words to “We Three Kings.”

THE PIANO GUYS perform on Wednesday, Dec. 10, at the Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $38 to $48. Information: oakdale.com.
