Earnest, stadium-size folk-rock is the order of the day, as neo-Springsteen-ian troubadour Melissa Etheridge kicks off her new tour at Foxwoods on Sunday, Nov. 2, in support of “This Is M.E.,” her latest album.
“Take My Number,” the first single and video, finds the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter in nostalgic deep-dive mode, while rockers like “I Won’t Be Alone Tonight” show she’s still interested in belting it out. Etheridge’s high-energy show will be a mix of new songs and big hits like “Come To My Window” and “I Want To Come Over.” Tickets are $25 to $45.
