Keller Williams, who’ll be at Fairfield Theatre Company’s StageOne on Friday, Jan. 9, would’ve made an excellent juggler. At any time, Williams has several projects — Keller and the Keels, or the Rhythm Devils, with the drummers from the Grateful Dead, for example — to mess around with.
When he does solo shows, Williams uses a Boss Loop Station to add layers of guitars, bass, keyboards, vocals, drum machines and whatever else he can get his hands on, weaving tapestries of music that’s funny, funky, psychedelic and frenzied, all at once. The visual spectacle is almost as entertaining as the music. Tickets are $58.
