Summer has passed, but it won’t go down without a fight. Head to the eighth installment of New London’s outdoor I Am Festival on Saturday, Sept. 6, for vintage goods, food trucks and more than two dozen bands, including the Whigs (pictured), who’ll arrive all the way from Athens, Ga.
Other acts to check out: the So So Glos (from NYC), the McLovins (Hartford), Roz & The Rice Cakes (Providence) and native New Londoners Quiet Life, who played the very first I Am way back in 2006 before heading west to Oregon. Visit iamfest.org for the full lineup.
