If you’re heading to Demi Lovato’s upcoming concert at Mohegan Sun Arena on Oct. 17, you may want to bone up on her lyrics (unless you want to feel totally alone). Lovato’s stable of hits, from the hyperactive “Really Don’t Care” to her ubiquitous take on the “Frozen” anthem “Let It Go,” seems carefully engineered for mass hysteria and participatory group-singing, with gaps left open for “spontaneous” applause.

Still only 22, the former Disney star and “X Factor” judge is at the height of her singing, twerking and Jonas Brother-duetting powers, as evidenced on her last album, “Demi.” Singer-songwriter Christina Perri and MKTO, a duo from L.A., open the show.

DEMI LOVATO performs on Friday, Oct. 17, at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, with special guests Christina Perri and MKTO. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $49.50. Information: mohegansun.com.
