Blues great Buddy Guy has new album out: “Born to Play Guitar.” So when was he born? 1936!
Over his long career, Guy has earned half a dozen Grammys, 23 W.C. Handy Awards, a National Medal of Arts, Billboard Magazine’s Century Award and the Kennedy Center Honors, and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame and the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum.
