Mohegan Sun Arena has announced that Meghan Trainor will not be performing at the 96.5 TIC All Star Christmas due to illness.

Remaining on the bill is OneRepublic, whose driving dance-pop hit “Counting Stars” was ubiquitous in 2013, and remains hard to avoid. English singer James Bay’s brooding folk-soul single “Let It Go,” from 2014, also falls under the you-can’t-have-not-heard-it category. Violinist and dancer Lindsey Stirling is the artist from this bill most likely to have slid under your radar, though she’s collaborated with a cappella juggernauts Pentatonix and been on national TV talent shows with her mix of electronica and classical playing.

James Bay and Lindsey Stirling also perform, and there will be a special performance by Connecticut native Nick Fradiani. Refunds are available at the point of purchase prior to the 7:00 p.m. start of the show.

The 96.5 TIC All Star Christmas concert is at Mohegan Sun Arena, 1 Mohegan Sun Blvd., Uncasville, Thursday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $50 to $75. 860-226-7711 and mohegansun.com.
