Lyme teenager Braiden Sunshine is still in the running on the NBC music competition show "The Voice." He'll perform Monday night, Dec. 7, in the semi-finals.
After his last performance ("Harder to Breathe," by Maroon 5), Sunshine was the recipient of an Instant Save, which allowed him to progress to the next round. He's now one of nine remaining contestants.
"This whole experience has been absolutely amazing and I can't wait for this upcoming performance," Sunshine wrote in an email. "Being in the top 9 has been mind blowing to me because I had always been unsure about myself but this has been such a validation that I am good enough to make this a career. I can't wait to see what comes after the show. But in the meantime, watch this Monday! It's gonna be great!"
Tune in to NBC at 8 p.m. Monday to watch Braiden's performance.
