The annual “Radical Reels Tour,” an evening of short films about outdoor adventure, will come to the University of Connecticut in Storrs on Oct. 1. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. at the Student Union Theater. Admission is free and open to the public.
The films on tour this year are “The Fledglings,” about two professional mountain climbers; “Give Me Five,” about a group of French free-falling flyers; “La Liste,” about a Swiss free-riding skier; “Locked In,” about kayakers in Papua New Guinea; “Not2Bad,” about daredevil Spanish bike riders; “Sonnie Trotter vs. The Totem Pole,” about Canadian climbers on a continuous free ascent; “Tight Loose — The Tordrillos Foot-Powered Mission,” about men who climb and ski in Alaska; and “The Trail to Kazbegi,” about four mountain bikers.
