On Sunday, Sept. 24, Real Art Ways in Hartford will show a one-time screening of a movie that will appeal to lovers of hip-hop.
“Martha & Niki” is a documentary about Martha Nabwire and Niki Tsappos, the first two women to be named world champions in hip-hop dance. The movie includes music by Jungle Brothers, Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth, Das EFX, N.O.R.E., The Roots, Method Man, Damon Frost, Chapee, Explicit Samurai, Niki Awandee, Fulgeance, Dibiase, Isopode, Fat Freddy’s drop, Mario P Amigo, Supahumans, Clika One, Kalle Bäccman, Andreas Unge, Pontus Winnberg, Gustavo Santaolalla, Kicki Halmos and Per Egland.
It will be shown at 3:05 p.m.
