“The Sandlot,” the 1993 comedy about a new kid in town and a baseball team, July 3 in Cal Ripken Field.

“The Book of Life,” the 2014 animated fantasy based on the Mexican Dia de los Mertos, July 17 in Pope Park.

“Mrs. Doubtfire,” the 1993 comedy about a cross-dressing nanny (Robin Williams), July 31 in Elizabeth Park.

“LEGO Movie,” the 2014 animated adventure about an intrepid little LEGO figure, Aug. 7 in Sigourney Park.

“Drumline,” the 2002 drama about a Harlem street drummer at a Southern university, Aug. 14 in Keney Park.

“Cannonball Run,” the 1981 comedy about an illegal street race starring Burt Reynolds, Aug. 21 in Bushnell Park.

This year, two R-rated, adult-oriented movies wil be thrown into the mix: “Chef,” the 2014 comedy about a beleagured chef and a food truck, on July 10; and “Rocky Horror Picture Show,” the 1975 cult classic about a mansion full of freaks, on July 24. Both of those are on the Riverfront, where a beer garden will be set up.
