'Color of Justice' Doc At Twain House

CPTV documentary 'Color of Justice' looks at juvenile justice system

"The Color of Justice," a CPTV documentary about the disproportionate number of nonwhite youths in the Connecticut juvenile justice system, will be shown on Thursday, Feb. 19, at the Mark Twain House & Museum, 351 Farmington Ave. in Hartford, in an event co-sponsored by the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center and the Connecticut Juvenile Justice Alliance.

The film screening will be followed by a discussion with Lara Herscovitch, deputy director, Connecticut Juvenile Justice Alliance, Michaelangelo Palmieri, probation supervisor, Middlesex County Superior Court for Juvenile Matters, and Cathy Jackman, the film's writer and producer.
