Mansfield Drive-In will be rocking out when a Black Sabbath concert film is shown on Sept. 28 and a Pearl Jam movie plays Sept. 29 and 30, with live music before both screenings.
"Black Sabbath: The End of the End," which the band bills as "the final word from the greatest metal band of all time," was shot on Feb. 4, 2017, in Birmingham, England.
It is shown at 8 p.m. at the drive-in at 228 Stafford Road. At 7 p.m., Black Sabbath cover band Earth will perform.
"The End of the End" also is shown Sept. 28, at 7:30 p.m. at Mystic Luxury Cinemas, 27 Coogan Blvd. and at 8 p.m. at Fairfield Cinemas at Bullard Square, 41 Black Rock Turnpike.
On Sept. 29 and 30 at Mansfield, the movie is "Let's Play Two," a Pearl Jam concert film shot in 2016 at Wrigley Field in Chicago, the hometown of frontman Eddie Vedder. Both screenings will be preceded at 7 p.m. by live music.
