Cinestudio’s second Thursdays series of LGBT-friendly films continues this week with “Life Partners.”

The comedy stars Leighton Meester as Sasha, a lesbian rock-star wannabe who is entirely dependent on her long-term friendship with Paige, a straight lawyer. Then Paige meets a man and falls in love, and Sasha starts to feel left out of Paige’s life. It will be shown Thursday, Feb. 12, at 7:30 p.m. at the theater at 300 Summit St. on the campus of Trinity College in Hartford.

Two more unique films are coming to Cinestudio this week: a Valentine’s Day run of the classic love story “Casablanca,” from Feb. 13 and 14, at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. each day; and Robert Altman’s 1973 detective thriller “The Long Goodbye” from Sunday to Tuesday, Feb. 15 to 17, at 7:30 p.m. daily, with a 2:30 p.m. matinee on Sunday.

Next week, Cinestudio will show “The Passionate Thief,” a 1960 Italian heist comedy starring Anna Magnani and Ben Gazzara, from Sunday to Tuesday, Feb. 22 to 24. Admission is $9, $7 students. www.cinestudio.org.
