The Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art closes its autumn “Food and Film” series on Sunday, Nov. 29, with a screening of “Lady Sings the Blues,” accompanied by a jazz brunch.

The 1972 musical biography stars Diana Ross as Billie Holiday and Billy Dee Williams as her paramour Louis McKay. It also stars Isa bel Sanford and Richard Pryor. It will be shown at 2 p.m. At 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., a brunch will be held in two seatings in the museum cafe, with Billie Holiday songs performed by John Brighenti and Linda Ransom.

Admission to just the movie is $9, $8 seniors and students, $7 members, free for Insider Access members and above. Admission to the brunch, which includes complimentary mimosas and Bloody Marys and a ticket to the movie, are $35, $25 for members. Tickets: 860-838-4100.
