Katharine Hepburn’s ‘Holiday’ Screening In Cedar Hill Cemetery

Want to watch an outdoor movie in a cemetery?

Cedar Hill Cemetery, 435 Fairfield Ave. in Hartford, hosts a movie night on Thursday, Aug. 25, at 7:30 p.m. The film being shown is appropriate: a movie starring Katharine Hepburn, who is buried there.

“Holiday” is a 1938 comedy co-starring Cary Grant, about a man whose idea for his marriage raise some eyebrows in his family. It will be shown on the lawn between the community mausoleums. Attendees are asked to bring a blanket or a chair. Admission is $5, free for Cedar Hill and Let’s Go Arts members. The rain date is Friday, Aug. 26. cedarhillfoundation.org.
