‘How To Change the World,’ Greenpeace Doc, At Area Theaters

Greenpeace is one of the most well-respected and longstanding of the world’s great environmental organizations, and a documentary playing in theaters nationwide tells the story of the organization and its origins.

“How To Change the World” is about Canadian journalist and anti-nuclear activist Robert Hunter and his friends, who co-founded Greenpeace in 1971. The movie will be accompanied by a Q&A including Mariella Frostrup, Vivienne Westwood, Jerry Rothwell and Emily Hunter, the daughter of Robert Hunter, who died in 2005. The three-hour presentation will be shown Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 7:30 p.m. at AMC Loews Danbury, Cinemark Buckland Hills in Manchester, Connecticut Post 14 in Milford, Cinemark North Haven, Stonington 10 in Pawcatuck, Regal Brass Mill 12 in Waterbury, Regal Branford 12.
