Every Thursday night through Nov. 16, Cinemark Buckland Hills in Manchester shows a horror movie at 10:30 p.m.

The “Thursday Night at the Asylum” series includes thrillers aimed at both scares and laughs, all produced or distributed by The Asylum, a production company focused on campy horror movies.

The series begins Sept. 28 with “2-Headed Shark Attack,” a 2012 deserted-island thriller about college students whose boat is capsized by a two-headed shark, who is hungry for more. Rated R.

The title on Oct. 5 is “Tonight She Comes,” a 2016 cabin-in-the-woods bloodbath; and on Oct. 12 “Bad Blood,” a thriller about two young lovers and a dark secret, will be shown. The film on Oct. 19 is “Zoombies,” a 2016 creature feature about undead, escaped zoo animals. Not rated.

“A Haunting in Salem” is Oct. 26, a 2011 ghost story about a house in Salem possessed by evil spirits; and “Zombie Spring Breakers,” an action comedy about youths in Ibiza during an outbreak of the undead, will be shown Nov. 2. “Bad Girl,” about a teen whose new friend turns out to be dangerous, is the title on Nov. 9.

The series closes Nov. 16 with “Sharknado,” the 2013 cheeseball classic about a town terrorized by a tornado full of sharks.
