The 6th annual Grateful Dead Meet-Up At The Movies is on May 11, starting at 7 p.m.
This year, the guys — Jerry Garcia, Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh, Brent Mydland and Bob Weir — will be seen performing a concert at Sullivan Stadium in Foxboro, Mass., on July 2, 1989, in front of 60,000 fans.
In addition to the concert, the evening will feature an interview with Grateful Dead archivist David Lemieux about the upcoming 12-disc “July 1978: The Complete Recordings” boxed set. Also to be shown is previously unseen performance footage with Dead & Company, made up of featuring Hart, Kreutzmann, Weir, singer/guitarist John Mayer, bassist Oteil Burbridge, and keyboardist Jeff Chimenti.
The show is about 2 hours 40 minutes long.
