Robert Vaughn’s Last Film, ‘Gold Star,’ Showing At Bethel Cinema

The veteran actor Robert Vaughn, best known for “The Magnificent Seven,” “Bullitt” and “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.,” died on Nov. 11 in Ridgefield. Vaughn’s last feature film will be shown on Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. at Bethel Cinema.

“Gold Star” is based on the experiences of the filmmaker, Victoria Negri, who became her elderly father’s caregiver in the last year of his life. It stars Vaughn, who does not speak in the film, Catherine Curtin, Jacob Heimer and Negri herself.

The screening, the film’s Connecticut premiere, is presented by Connecticut Film Festival. Admission is $10.50, $9 seniors and students. goldstar-film.com.
