“Godzilla Resurgence,” a new take on the Godzilla legend, will come to theatears in an unusual one-week-only release, on a staggered-day schedule, in just a few theaters starting on Tuesday, Oct. 11.

The Japanese-language film, also known as “Shin Gojira,” is about a disturbance in Tokyo Bay, which is originally believed to have been caused by an earthquake.

It will be shown Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 11 to 13, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 15, at 1 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 7 p.m. Theaters showing the film include Bow Tie Palace 17, 330 New Park Ave. in Hartford, Bow Tie Cinemas Marquis 16, 100 Quarry Road in Trumbull, and Cinemark Buckland Hills, 99 Red Stone Road in Manchester.
