A short documentary about a West Hartford woman who survived the Holocaust will be screened at Real Art Ways, 56 Arbor St. in Hartford, on Sunday, Nov. 15. It will be followed by a panel discussion with the woman, her daughter and her granddaughter.

“Gisela’s Story,” directed by Avon High School senior Jamie McNeill, chronicles the life experiences of Gisela Adamski, who was born in Germany and sent to concentration camps at age 14. Her parents died in the camps.

Gisela, 87, is a frequent speaker in the area. Last month, she showed the film and gave a presentation at South Windsor High School, in response to an incident in which South Windsor students taunted West Hartford students at an athletic event by singing “The Dreidel Song.”

After the 40-minute film, Adamski, her daughter, Elaine Sandler of Bloomfield, and her granddaughter, Shiri Sandler of New York, will hold a discussion, moderated by Dr. Harold Schwartz, psychiatrist-in-chief at the Institute of Living in Hartford. Showtime is 11:30 a.m. Admission is free. Information: realartways.org
