The summer “Hollywood at the Bijou” film series presented by Witch’s Dungeon Classic Movie Museum in Bristol is full of scares and thrills, with four events of horror and suspense movies being shown with classic cartoon shorts.

All the screenings are shown on two consecutive days, on Fridays at 7 p.m. and Saturdays at both 1 and 7 p.m. All are held at Bristol Historical Society, 98 Summer St., and admission is a $3 donation.

The season begins with a 1950s sci-fi double feature, “Fiend Without a Face” and the original 1956 classic “Invasion of the Body Snatchers,” on June 29 and 30.

The second program is the double feature “The Haunted Palace” with Vincent Price and “The Devil’s Bride” with Christopher Lee on July 27 and 28.

The third event is the Cary Grant horror comedy “Arsenic and Old Lace,” on Aug. 10 and 11.

The summer series ends on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 with the Bela Lugosi double feature “Son of Frankenstein” and “White Zombie.”
