On Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 10 and 11, four area theaters will show a 3-D nature documentary filmed in Africa and narrated by acclaimed actor Idris Elba.
“Enchanted Kingdom” focuses on seven realms of the natural world: Mysterious Forest, Fiery Underworld, Alien Sands, Scorched Plains, Fantastical Seas, Frozen Spires and the Mercurial Waters.
The documentary, produced by BBC Earth, will be shown at 7 p.m. each day at Cinemark Buckland, 99 Red Stone Road in Manchester; Connecticut Post 14, 1201 Boston Post Road in Milford; AMC Danbury 16, 61 Eagle Road; and Cinemark North Haven, 550 Universal Drive.
Admission is $18, $17 for seniors and students, $16 for children.
