The International House and Trinity Film Society at Trinity College in Hartford are presenting a late-night screening on Friday, April 8, of a Malaysian musical-comedy that won an award at the Venice Film Festival in 2008.
“Sell Out!” tells the story of two young strivers who work for the “Fony” corporation. One is a TV host whose latest guest dies on camera, which gives her an idea for a reality show. The other is a product developer, in love with the TV host, who is constantly berated by his boss.
It will be shown at 10 p.m. at the theater on the campus at 300 Summit St. Admission is free. So is popcorn, and Malaysian-style finger food. Information here.
