Cinestudio’s monthly Second Thursday series of LGBT-friendly films continues with “Falsettos.”
The filmed presentation of a stage play performed at Lincoln Center in New York tells the story of a gay man, his wife, his lover, his son, their psychiatrist and some lesbian friends. It is shown Thursday, Sept. 14, at 7:30 p.m. at Cinestudio, 300 Summit St., on the campus of Trinity College in Hartford.
Also showing at Cinestudio is a late-night screening of “The Breakfast Club,” the 1985 John Hughes drama about high school misfits who meet during detention. It is shown Friday, Sept. 15, at 10:30 p.m.
