Cinestudio begins a weeklong run of a classic Italian drama beloved by cinephiles. “Cinema Paradiso” tells the story of a little boy who grows up in a small town and makes friends with the local cinema’s projectionist. The boy grows up in the movie theater and learns to love movies.

The 1988 drama, which won the Oscar for best foreign-language film, will be shown Friday to Thursday, June 24 to 30, at 7:30 p.m., with a 2:30 p.m. matinee on Saturday, June 25.

Also this week, the theater will show “One Man, Two Guvnors,” the NT Live London production of Richard Bean’s adaptation of “Servant of Two Masters.” It stars James Corden. It will be shown Sunday, June 26, at 2:30 p.m.

Admission to “Cinema Paradiso” is $9, $7 for seniors, students and Friends of Cinestudio. Admission to “One Man, Two Guvnors” is $20, $12 for seniors, students and Friends of Cinestudio. cinestudio.org.
