Willington’s new arts venue The Packing House is showing a 2005 American Masters documentary directed by Martin Scorsese.

“No Direction Home: Bob Dylan” tells the story of Dylan’s evolution, from 1961 to 1966, from obscure folkie into a rock star. Dylan gave Scorsese access to rare footage and gave him a long interview. Scorsese also interviews fellow folk singers such as Joan Baez and Pete Seeger.

It will be shown on Friday, April 1, at 7 p.m. at the venue at 156 River Road. The 3-1/2 hour long film will be shown with an intermission. Admission is a suggested donation of $5.

This screening is hosted by the Friends of The Mill Works. Snacks and soft drinks will be available. Beer and wine only can be brought in BYOB with $5.00 corkage/bottle fee. For details and table reservations, call 518-791-9474.
