The Sagrada Familia in Barcelona is one of the world’s most legendary churches. Iconoclastic, and deeply religious, architect Antoni Gaudí designed the church. Construction began in 1882. At the time of Gaudí’s death in 1926, it was unifinished, and it is still unfinished.

“Sagrada: The Mystery of Creation” tells the story of the church and of the people — artists, architects and workers — who have worked to try to finish it.

Stefan Haupt’s documentary will be shown at Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, 600 Main St. in Hartford, at 2 p.m. on Dec. 27 and 28 and Jan. 3 and 4. Admission is $9, $8 seniors and students, $7 members, free for Insider Access members. thewadsworth.org.
