Southington Drive-In, at 935 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike, starts a new summer season of fun weekend classic film events with the most iconic summer blockbuster ever: “Jaws” on Saturday, June 7.

The drive-in charges $15 per carload, $10 for Southington residents who show proof of residency. Also, each week one neighboring town is included in the cheaper price. On “Jaws” night, the neighbor town is Bristol.

People without cars can come, too, for $2, but they should bring lawn chairs. People are let in starting 6 p.m. and the show is at dusk.

Here’s the lineup, with dates, titles and neighbor towns: June 14, “Ice Age,” first 100 non-Southington cars; June 21, “Tangled,” Cheshire; June 28, “The Muppet Movie” (1979), Meriden; July 5, “Wall-E,” Wolcott; July 12, “Frozen,” Waterbury, July 19, “Stand by Me,” Cromwell; Aug. 12, “Harry and the Hendersons,” Plainville; Aug. 8 (a Friday), “Meatballs,” Newington; Aug. 9, “Stripes,” Farmington; Aug. 16, “Superman” (1978), North Haven; Aug. 23, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” (1990), Middletown; Aug. 30, “The Lion King,” Wallingford; and Sept. 6, “E.T. the Extra Terrestrial,” Berlin.
